and Australia), after which they become public domain. Whenever possible,

domain documents, private collections, or with permission from the author
of published books; however, if for any reason anything on here does
violate a copyright (which none should), please notify the editor via e-mail and the offending item will be
removed. As for the text of the site, several researchers have spent
years researching the Lusitania before sending them here, so anything
taken from this site should be citied -- please.
Disclaimer
Although this site tries to be as comprehensive as possible, it however,
may be impossible to be entirely free of errors. Not to impugne the
work of any of the researchers (which the editor would never do), but the
fact is that several passenger and crew testimonies contradict each other
and it may be impossible to find what the exact truth was. As Walter
Lord would say, "it is indeed a rash man" who would set himself as the final
arbiter of what happened that day.
