Edward Tarry, 27, of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, was returning to England
on the Lusitania to make his
annual report to the firm of Encorah and Sons of Liecester. Tarry
was the company's Canadian representative. Tarry originally came
to Canada in 1913 to obtain a market for knitted goods for his
company. He had a wife and two children who resided in
England. In Canada he boarded at 11 Rainsford Rd. During
the disaster, Tarry managed to get below to his stateroom to get
lifebelts.
