John Doyle, 35, was the brother of Peter Doyle, a leading fireman aboard Lusitania. Both brothers are known to have been born in County Wexford, Ireland, to Lawrence and Ann Doyle. John was born in Glynn.
As of 1915, the mother Ann had already died and the family lived in Liverpool, England. The father, Lawrence, lived at 368, Vauxhall Road, Liverpool, where John presumably also lived. His brother Peter maintained a separate residence with his wife, Bridget.
Both brothers were lost in the sinking of the Lusitania.
