Mr. Allen Byron Barnes

Allen Barnes, 43, was from Berlin, Ontario, Canada and was sailing on Lusitania on business.  His ticket on Lusitania was 6926 and his cabin number was B-1. The following is from the Toronto Star, Saturday, 8 May 1915, page 2:

Berlin Man Aboard.

Berlin, Ont. May 8 — A.B. barnes, superintendent of the Star White-[text missing]ear Company, was one of the passengers on the ill-fated Lusitania.  He left for England to secure additional war orders for his firm.

Allen Barnes survived the sinking and was treated at Queenstown hospital and released.
