Mr. Ronald Denyer

Ronald Denyer, 30, and a United States national, was valet to Alfred Vanderbilt and also lived in New York City, New York, United States. Denyer’s ticket for Lusitania was 46032 and stayed in cabin B-62. When the Lusitania was sinking, Denyer and Vanderbilt assisted in loading children into lifeboats so that they may be saved. Near the end, Denyer stood on the port side of the Boat Deck by the verandah café with Vanderbilt and Dr. Owen Kenan. When the water came up to meet them, Denyer and Kenan jumped overboard. Kenan survived, Denyer did not.
