Mrs. H. Hedley Leopold Holland (Nina Nadin)

Nina Holland, 34, was a United States citizen from New York, New York. She booked a second-cabin ticket aboard the Lusitania‘s final crossing. Nina was born around 1880 in London, England, the daughter of John George Nadin and Nina Hart Nadin. She married Hedley Leopold Holland in Philadelphia in 1911. Holland was born around 1872 in Ireland. Nina was a secretary at Farm to Consumer, Inc.

At the time of the Lusitania disaster, Nina was pregnant. She survived the torpedoing and sinking of the Lusitania on 7 May 1915 and carried out the full term of her pregnancy. She gave birth to a daughter, Eileen, in September of that year.

Nina remarried to Frank John Musil on 11 April 1918 in Manhattan, New York. She passed away in Manhattan, New York on 14 September 1938 and is buried in Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, New York.
