Master Reginald Burley

Reginald Burley, an infant, was a British citizen from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He was the younger brother of Doris Burley, son of Reuben and Florence Burley, and the grandson of Elizabeth Bull. The family was traveling together aboard Lusitania’s last voyage. The party bought their tickets in New York. The entire party was lost in the Lusitania sinking. Reginald’s body was either never recovered or never identified.

Reginald Burley was born in either 1914 or 1915, the son of Florence and Reuben Burley, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He had an older sister, Doris, born in 1906.

In 1914, Reginald’s grandfather died, and his grandmother, Elizabeth Bull, went to Hamilton to visit her daughter and grandchildren. She decided to return in the Spring of 1915, and Reuben and Florence decided to take their family to holiday in England and accompany Elizabeth. They booked second cabin passage on the Lusitania. The entire family was lost in the Lusitania sinking.
