Mr. Induprakash Bannerji (Bandhopadhyay)

Induprakash Bannerji, 30, was an Indian national and British subject. His birth name was Induprakash Bandhopadhyay, and his family name was Anglicized to Bannerji. He was the first PhD at Harvard University to come from India.

By the time of the Lusitania disaster, Bannerji was living in Princeton, New Jersey, United States. Bannerji was lost when the Lusitania was torpedoed and sunk on 7 May 1915.
