John FitzGerald was the electric attendant aboard Lusitania‘s last voyage. He worked in the electrical department with the Cunnard Engine Works in Liverpool. FitzGerald survived the Lusitania sinking of 7 May 1915 and won the Royal Humane Society’s Award for saving two children in the water.
