I just thought to drop a line to say how much I appreciate your site, especially the passenger and crew list, something that I have been looking for for some time. Well done to everyone who has put together such a comprehensive site on the last voyage of the Lusitania.
Were the watertight doors closed when the torpedo hit? and what other commands were given after the torpedo strike? i’d like to know.
