Mr. Alfred Wood, Saloon Cabin Bed Steward

Alfred Wood was a saloon cabin bed steward in charge of saloon (first class) cabins E 57 – E 69 odd and E 75 on the starboard side. During the sinking, he gave his lifebelt to Emma Copping, who was lost in the disaster. Wood himself was saved.
