Edward Fayle was a British subject born in Peel, Isle of Man. He served aboard Lusitania‘s last voyage as an able seaman in the Deck Department. He survived the sinking.
The Isle of Man Times of 15 May 1915 had reported Able-Bodied Seaman Fayle as missing. Fortunately for him and his family, this proved to be an error.
