I just found a giant coin with “Marie DePage, Edith Cavall Remember 1915!” I wonder what is its significance. It belonged to my grandmother who died when I was two.
What was the significance? Have you had it looked at?
I believe that this is the nurse who was executed by the Germans in Belgium for assisting wounded soldiers. There is a monument to her near Trafalgar Square in London.
