Bernard Cassidy, 59, was born in Newry, County Down, the son of Thomas and Catherine Cassidy. His mother Catherine predeceased him. He was married to Elizabeth Handley. They lived at 26 Exeter Street, Liverpool, England. Cassidy was lost in the Lusitania sinking.
