Mr. Patrick Sheridan, Fireman

Patrick Sheridan, 56, was a fireman lost in the sinking of the Lusitania. He was born in County Westmeath, Ireland, the son of the late John and Mary Sheridan. Patrick was the husband of Charlotte Sheridan (née Smyth) of 6, Boreland Street, Bootle, Liverpool, Lancashire, England.

I Have researched this man for my friend – his name is Tony Williams and lives in Garston – Patrick was his G Grandfather and Tony has a wonderful photograph of Patrick ..some info you may find interesting …Patrick Sheridan married Charlotte Smyth on 30th November 1878 at Taghmon Roman Catholic Chapel – Patrick was from Collinstown – his father was John Sheridan a Labourer – Charlottes father was Edward Smyth – a Herds Man…they had 10 children – 2 died http://www.liverpoolhistoryprojects.co.uk has 7 baptisms for Patrick and Charlotte – from 1884 – we presume the other 3 were born in Ireland ..Tony Williams daughter coincidentally lives in Athlone – 26 miles from Collinstown and has 2 children there – Tony is planning to go and see his daughter – Collinstown – Taghmon Chapel around May 2019 – if either of you would like the photo of Patrick or to go to Ireland with Tony please leave a post ….thanks for reading
