Mr. Julius Strauss

Julius Strauss, 39, was a British subject from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He was lost in the Lusitania disaster. His ticket for the ship was 8677 and he stayed in cabin E-42. Strauss had previously entered the United States on 22 March 1915 aboard Holland America’s SS Nieuw Amsterdam. Strauss’ body was either never recovered or not identified.

  1. I wonder if this is the Julius Strauss I am looking for. I believe my grandfather was a Julius Strauss who went to New York around 1915. I haven’t been able to trace his whereabouts since arrival in NY.
