Mrs. Stanley Robert Taylor (Annie Sarah Johnson)

Annie Taylor, 41, was a United States citizen from Dorchester, Massachusetts, United States.  Annie was lost in the Lusitania sinking.

From the Saturday, 15 May 1915 New York Times, page 8: “The American Consulate has taken charge of a body believed to be that of Mrs. Annie Taylor of Dorchester, Mass., who was a second cabin passenger on the Lusitania.”

The Wednesday, 19 May 1915 edition of the New York Times, page 5, had a news brief from the American Consul at Queenstown showing that that the name of Mrs. Annie S. Taylor had been added to the list of dead.

  1. The Coventry Standard 21 May 1915 reported that A Mrs Taylor, the widow of a Coventry man who had been resident in the States died in especially pathetic circumstances but her boy was spared
