Frederick John Milford, 36, was an American citizen from Hancock, Maryland, United States. He was saved from the Lusitania sinking. The New York Times of Monday, May 10, page 3, said: “E. J. Milford of Maryland was dragged into a lifeboat after swimming for fifty minutes.”
He was rescued by the Flying Fish. He returned to the United States aboard the American Liner Philadelphia with survivors Gladys Bilicke and Frederic Gauntlett.
