John Preston-Smith, 28, was an unofficial member of the Royal Gwent Welsh singers. He was traveling with George Davies, William Hill, Gwynn Jones, George Lane, Dewi Michael, and Thomas Williams.
Preston-Smith was from Southbanks, Yorkshire, England. Preston-Smith survived the Lusitania sinking was rescued by Heron.
