Annie Doyle, 24, was a native of Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland. She had been working in New York City, New York, as a domestic servant. Annie was lost in the Lusitania sinking.
She was the daughter of Tom Doyle, who worked for Mr. P.J. Casey. She also had a brother who was fighting in France or Flanders. On the same day that Tom learned of his daughter’s passing, within the hour he also learned that his son had been admitted to a hospital, suffering from exposure to poison gas.
