Mr. Edward Bond, Saloon Bed Steward

Edward Bond, a British national, was a saloon cabin bed steward who survived the Lusitania sinking. As the ship went under, he was sucked into a funnel with Detective-Inspector William Pierpoint, Margaret Gwyer, and Harold Taylor. They were all blown out of the funnel when the boilers exploded.

  3. Wow, yes I am Jack and Doris Bond’s daughter, Judy. My brother Paul will be delighted to hear we have made contact. I remember my Uncle Spike and Aunty Jean really well. Did you also know Aunty Lou and Uncle Tommy ( Parry)? Tommy was prisoner of war in Japan. No luck so far with finding a picture of Teddy…
