Thoughts and Prayers go out to Passengers and Crew of the Costa Concordia

Perhaps everyone has been following this story in the news over the past week: the Costa Cruise ship Costa Concordia ran aground off the coast of Italy, capsized and partially sank, lying on a shelf of rocks near the island of Giglio.

Of the 4,252 on board, 4,197 have been rescued. Twelve deaths are confirmed and 21 are still missing. Thoughts and prayers go out to the passengers and crew who have been affected by this tragedy.

At 114,137 gross tons, the Costa Concordia is the largest passenger ship ever to be shipwrecked.
