This April 3 marks the 100th anniversary of the last time Lusitania departed Liverpool for her last westbound crossing. This would be Captain William Turner’s first voyage back on Lusitania since his promotion to Mauretania and Aquitania, and since Captain Dow took ill. On board would be Titanic survivor Nora Keane, Empress of Ireland survivor Clayton Burt and the husband of Lusitania final crossing passengers Mary Amelia Ryerson and Laura Ryerson.
